We want to see 100% of our leadership potential, female and male,
equally contributing to our social and economic future.
While 73% of entry-level roles are occupied by women, this reduces to just 43% of women in middle management roles. Only 32% make it to director level. The leadership pipeline is broken, and laws and policies simply aren’t working on their own. That's why we're dedicated to doing what we do.
We help progressive companies modernise their workplace practices and cultures and create more diverse, inclusive environments enabling both women and men to succeed. At the same time we empower women to play their part in accelerating their own careers and supporting others to do the same. We believe it is by working together in this way that we can find the solutions needed to create sustainable change and achieve the gender balance that is critical for our future social and economic success. |
For Women in businessmaking 'it' work for women who workWe support women throughout the stages of their careers, empowering them to create a bigger personal vision for success, and equipping them with the skills they need to be their best and fulfil their ambitions at work and at home.
|
For organisationsCreating diverse, equal opportunity workplacesWe help progressive companies move beyond basic inclusiveness and policy-drive measures to create sustainable culture change and address what women deem as the real obstacles to progress - with a focus on flexibility at a
key driver. |

strengthening the female talent pipeline
According to the World Economic Forum, it will be 118 years before women have the same career prospects as men. Even as female leaders steer multinationals and key economies, the reality is that the working world still excludes and overlooks half of its available talent. Our mission is to increase women's participation and progress in the workforce and create an equal playing field, with a focus on these four key areas:
Reshaping the workplaceModernising workplace practices and cultures to align with the needs and expectations of the workforce of today, allowing women and men to perform at their best and advance in their careers, whilst leading more balanced, happier lives.
|
parental transition support Actively supporting new parents, and their managers, through the parental transition - out of, and back into the workplace - stopping them from quitting or opting for a less ambitious role in a forced choice between career and family.
|
nurturing ambitionCreating coaching, mentoring and networking initiatives and programmes that help women expand and sustain their professional aspirations all the way to the top.
|
men as agents for changeEncouraging men to become everyday champions and role models of diversity and women at work, and to take on a greater sharing of caring and domestic roles and responsibilities at home.
|
OUR vision
Our vision for the future is one where women are given equal opportunities to men
and the gender equality debate is a thing of the past. Where diverse teams are thriving and leading by example. Where flexible work for everyone is the norm, not the exception.
Where caring responsibilities outside of work are valued and work-life integration
is encouraged and supported.
